Bobby hull

Post by Chi-townpaulie on Thu Aug 23, 2012 12:21 pm

Bobby frequents the restraunt my wife works in alot, one night sh called me and asked me who Bobby hull is, so I told her & she's like.. Oh he's here. So any way she ended up getting me a few shot glasses, martini glasses and a few other things signed, but the deal was now she has to give him a kiss on the cheek every time he comes in & he will sign.

Yep, that sounds like Bobby.

Bobby is a great guy and a class act!

I have some funny stories from the past couple signings we had with him.

He should be coming back to the Chicago area in a couple months hopefully!

I really like the guy now, but when you read about some of the crap he's done during his life, it's really hard to say he's a great guy and a class act.

He makes Kane look like a saint, and Kane catches shit for getting drunk at a bar, something we've all done countless times.

To the fans... great guy and a class act.

Things he did in the past on his own time and in his personal life is none of my business... and I really don't care about.

Yeah he had affairs and domestic violence issues and whatever... but can you name me one athlete or celeb that is 100% clean/innocent?

Domestic violence is a tad more serious than stealing a Snickers. And yes, I could name plenty of athletes that with 100% certainty have not beat a woman.

Nice guy (now), Great to fans, great ambassador for the Hawks, yes. Great guy and class act? Not in my book.

I've been to a signing with Bobby where any/every kid that was in line, he spent a good 3-4 minutes talking to. Even the adults he would spend more than the usual 30 seconds (for handshake, sign, picture) and try to at least get their names.

Can't speak much for what he has done, but I wish more athletes would be more like him when fans pay/line up for your autograph and not look like you wish you could be anywhere but there at that point.
