After thinking long about this, and at the risk of upsetting people here goes:
I hate the guy that drops two pages of cards to get signed, gets them signed and then the athlete stops signing for the rest of the people that were waiting for him. I mean, how many Tyler Flowers/(insert name) cards do you need signed?
Is eight enough? Eleven? Sixteen? And what's the deal with six of the same card being signed at the same time?
You guys (you know who you are); frost my back side when you do that.
There. Off my chest. I'm a big boy so fire away. Because I could not get the 'graph, after waiting patiently, you still s _ _ k.

A lot of things irk me, but honestly, none of it I can control. Whatever happens, happens. If I miss out on a graph, it wouldn't be the first time, nor would it be the last time.

I don't graph like I used to, but the size of the crowds nowadays amazes me. I hate crowds. I think I just avoid it in general now so as not to get peeved.

It can't be a hobby if you can't enjoy it, so I'm going to do my best to try and keep enjoying it.

I hope Gomez shoves a kid when I'm around. Of course, I've never been to a free signing in Chicago, but I may go to one just to see who you're talking about. I can understand their business in selling signed items. Free enterprise, right? That's America. My peeve is when an athlete doesn't return your items. TTM. Why do they feel a compulsion to steal from a disabled veteran or anyone, for that matter?

I am getting annoyed with the people who share CSAC events on facebook and other websites. Not so much for the fact that it is info that I, as well as others have paid for, but it brings a larger crowd and makes thing take longer than they should.

There is 1 guy on FB who post every single bears event, then there is another who post every single Blackhawks signing. As if these things aren't crowded enough to begin with.

Public signings are really a pain, especially when the celeb is a jerk. I hate crowds, to an extent, but hate standing in line for hours on end. I have bad back & leg problems (AIRBORN veteran) and standing for more than 15 minutes really hurts. I take medication for it, but if I do before a signing, I'm nodding off like Courtney Love on the weekend. One of the last signings I went to was Ace Frehley in Myrtle Beach. He was an A$$ to many people and we waited in line for close to 10 hours before he started signing for the people in line who didn't have a $100 VIP pass. Tommy Thayer was awesome, though. Free photo op and he signed all 8 items for me & my family, of which we all still have. I sold the record Ace signed for me. As far as smudging goes, it can be prevented by (carefully) taping saran wrap over the other signatures, if on a helmet or ball. For a multi signed photo, I use a folder with the photo secured inside and cut a space out of the front of the folder for them to sign in a spot I pick out. Works for me.

yea...using a toploader or folder with the area needing a sig is one of the best ways to prevent smudging. it irks me when i get a TTM back and the top one is fine, but all the others are smudged. I got a michael biehn photo back that the sig was completely transferred to the back of the photo on top of it. completely worthless.
