How many deceased players/managers/coaches/announcers/etc make up your collection? Here is mine. I do not expect this to be 100% accurate but close to it. All of them I obtained TTM unless noted otherwise

I don't track them that way, but have a fair number. The collection grows quicker than we'd like, as new players die each week. I watch the obits in my local paper and on baseball-reference, so I can try to keep up with some of the more obscure players.

My favorite one is probably Arky Vaughan. Vaughan was a HOFer, but also played briefly for the Dodgers. He died a very long time ago, young and quite tragically.

Probably my all time favorite deceased autograph is from Brian Piccolo on a 3x5 card that I got in person as a kid at a Red Cloud benefit dinner in Chicago after his first operation. My dad was a security guard at Wrigley Field for Bears games at the time and he was on the field when Sayers tore up his knee. Since they used actual game footage of the stretcher scene in Brian's Song my dad appears in that scene for a couple seconds. That always made me have a more special connection to Sayers and Piccolo.
