I have several HOLY GRAILS in my personal collection, because of the number of images I'll post them seperately.

Item #3:

Autographed HOF Football

This is a constant work in progress. I take this everywhere an opportunity may present itself to see/meet HOFers (and future HOFers). I have been working on this since the early 90s. Many were obtained at sporting events and Super Bowl experiences (San Diego twice and Arizona). I have a total of 75 players signed on the football. Although many are HOFers, I've added several players who will be, based on their NFL careers such as (the late-RIP) JR Seau (there can't be many of these out there), Antonio Gates, LaDainian Tomlinson, Jerome Bettis, and Tony Gonzalez. The players with an asterisk (*) are deceased players; the football contains autographs of:

Chuck Bednarik, *Andy Robustelli, *Elroy ‘Crazylegs’ Hirsch, Charley Trippi, *Sid Gillman, *J.R. Seau, Mel Renfro, Bob Lilly, Joe Schmidt, Jim Otto, Jerome Bettis, *‘Bullet’ Bill Dudley, *Stan Jones, *Joe Perry, *Tony Canadeo, *Bill Walsh, *Marion Motley, *Hank Stram, Joe DeLamielleure, Leroy Kelly, Jan Stenerud, Dante ‘Gluefingers’ Lavelli, *Pete Pihos, *John Mackey, Tom Mack, Gale Sayers, Joe Greene, Tony Gonzalez, ‘Ace’ Parker, Paul Krause, Marcus Allen, *Ernie Stautner, Lem Barney, Art Shell, *John Henry Johnson, Mike Haynes, Ken Houston, Elvin Bethea, *Weeb Ewbank, Don Maynard, *Bob St. Clair, *Ollie Matson, Larry Little, Billy Shaw, *Gene Upshaw, Willie Brown, Willie Lanier, *Rosie Brown, Ron Yary, *Tom Fears, Ron Mix, Dan Fouts, Larry Wilson, Charley Taylor, *Otto Graham, Charlie Joiner, Deacon Jones, Jack Youngblood, *Frank Gatski, Willie Davis, Yale Lary, *Lou Creekmur, *George Blanda, Randy White, LaDainian Tomlinson, Lenny Moore, Raymond Berry, * Dick ‘Night Train’ Lane, Hugh McElhenney, Dave Wilcox, Jim Langer, Mike Ditka, *Merlin Olson, Anthony Munoz and Antonio Gates.

I have several HOLY GRAILS in my personal collection, because of the number of images I'll post them seperately.

Item #4:

Autographed HOF Bat

This is a constant work in progress. I take this everywhere an opportunity may present itself to see/meet HOFers (and future HOFers). I have been working on this since the early 90s. Many were obtained at sporting events and All Star/Fan Fest experiences (San Diego, Anaheim and Arizona). I have a total of 83 players signed on the bat. Although many are HOFers, I've added several players who will be such as Ichiro, Trevor Hoffman, Omar Vizquel and Tom Glavine (and one who won't-Pete Rose). I also added a couple of HOF announcers like Jerry Coleman, Dick Enberg, and Peter Gammons. Buck O'Neil is also on the bat...although he was not inducted into the HOF (he was deserving of the honor), the HOF named an award on his behalf because of his contributions to the game. The players with an asterisk (*) are deceased players; the bat contains autographs of:

Jim Palmer, Rod Carew, Bert Blyleven, *Willie Stargell, *Bob Lemon, Rollie Fingers, Ozzie Smith, Joe Morgan, Tony Perez, Monte Irvin, Fergie Jenkins, Carl Yastrzemski, Carlton Fisk, Gaylord Perry, Rickey Henderson, Don Sutton, Bob Feller, Trevor Hoffman, Sandy Koufax, *Al Barlick, *Leon Day, Johnny Bench, *Hoyt Wilhelm, Tom Seaver, Brooks Robinson, Al Kaline, Juan Marichal, Reggie Jackson, George Brett, Whitey Ford, *Duke Snider, Ralph Kiner, *Pee Wee Reese, Yogi Berra, *Robin Roberts, Phil Niekro, Ernie Banks, Dave Winfield, *Richie Ashburn, *Early Wynn, George Kell, *Jim ‘Catfish’ Hunter, *Buck Leonard, *Ray Dandridge, Luis Aparicio, *Warren Spahn, Frank Robinson, Mike Schmidt, Robin Yount, Red Schoendienst, Ryne Sandberg, Willie McCovey, *Hal Newhouser, Edgar Martinez, * Don Drysdale, Steve Carlton, Ichiro Suzuki, Lou Brock, Bobby Doerr, *Buck O’Neil, Hank Aaron, Billy Williams, *Gary Carter, *Johnny Mize, Willie Mays, Tony Gwynn, *Al Lopez, *Rick Ferrell, Jerry Coleman, Eddie Murray, Bob Gibson, *Phil Rizzuto, Stan Musial, Pete Rose, Wade Boggs, *Eddie Mathews, *Enos Slaughter, Tom Glavine, Jim Bunning, Greg Maddux, *Harmon Killebrew, Peter Gammons, and Dick Enberg.

I have several HOLY GRAILS in my personal collection, because of the number of images I'll post them seperately.

Item #5:

Michael Jordan Autographed Bat

In 1994 when MJ retired (the first time) from basketball and tried a new hobby (baseball), he played for the Scottsdale Scorpions during the Arizona Fall League (AFL). Since San Diego isn't that far away, it was hard not to go out and see him. There were days where he'd sign along the 1st and 3rd base lines or early in the morning when he arrived at Scottsdale Stadium. The bat was signed by him when he arrived early to the stadium (about 6:00 am) for an afternoon game. With only a handful of fans waiting for him, he graciously signed for everyone.

Thanks for the nice comments! Of the women who played in the AAGPBL, less than 200 are still living. Shirley Burkovich gave me the estimate when we spoke about the league as she signed my jersey and bat (I also obtained a bat signed by all the same players who autographed my jersey on the night of the event).

Shirley works as the Treasuer for the AAGPBL Association.

Here's a link to their website for more info: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
