Best way to store photos

Post by Silly on Thu Nov 29, 2012 8:35 am

How do you guys store your signed photos? I am referring to all sizes. Most of mine are kept in top loaders but we all know those can cause damage if not careful.

Ideally we would want to get each one framed as we collect right? But that isn't always financially possible and some people like me for whatever reason will collect photos they have no intention of ever framing.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on this.

For 16x20s I use foam board:

And also buy these sealable poly sleeves:

It kinda reminds of giant comic book holders. Photos don't get stuck in there like they do in top loaders and they display better.

For 8x10s I just picked up these Itoya Portfolio's. They had them on sale last week for 12.99 delivered so I would look around for a better price but these are sweet. My brother also uses these for 11x14s as well.

Itoya does also make portfolios for 11x14's and 16x20s as well.
